Chanote Privacy Policy

Chanote is a private real estate technology product by Launay Properties / LP Real Estate Co., Ltd. It helps users search Thai land parcels, view map context, save listings, and submit listing or due diligence requests. Chanote is not a government app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Thai Department of Lands or any government agency.

This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used under Thailand-focused privacy practices, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Information we collect

• Account and contact details you provide, such as name, email, phone number, LINE identity, and team membership.
• Listing information you submit, including parcel references, asking prices, seller/contact details, notes, photos, chanote files, and related documents.
• Approximate or precise device location when you allow location access, used to show nearby parcels and identify the parcel you are standing near.
• Product usage events such as searches, parcel opens, listing saves, feedback, and session activity, used to improve reliability and product quality.
• Technical information such as device, app version, diagnostic logs, and network request metadata needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• To provide parcel search, map display, saved listings, team sharing, and listing intake workflows.
• To review submitted listings, respond to due diligence or property requests, and contact users about their submissions.
• To maintain app security, prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve the user experience.
• To understand product usage and prioritize improvements.
• To process payments, invoices, refunds, and accounting records if paid services are enabled.

Location data

Chanote asks for location permission so the app can identify parcels near your current position. Location is used while you use map and parcel lookup features. You can disable location access in your device settings, but nearby parcel features may not work correctly.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, payments, and communications for Chanote. Listing submissions may be reviewed by the Chanote/Launay Properties team and relevant collaborators when needed to process a request.

Retention

We keep account, listing, document, analytics, and support records for as long as needed to operate the service, satisfy business or legal requirements, resolve disputes, and improve the product. You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legitimate operational or legal retention needs.

Your choices

• You can deny or disable location permission from your device settings.
• You can choose not to submit listings, photos, chanote files, or contact details.
• You can request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent for personal information by contacting us.
